Despite an off game by Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis, while Jaylen Brown didn't score at his usual clip, Boston easily put away Orlando in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series.

BOSTON — Minimizing Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown’s scoring, along with keeping Kristaps Porzingis from having a big game, were high atop the Orlando Magic’s Game 1 wish list.

They did all three - and still lost by a decisive 103-87 margin.

So goes the challenge of trying to upend the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics, a team that has shown the ability to contain and crush foes all season - with or without their best players clicking.
